Profile

Dr Amalia Nikolopoulou is a Senior Researcher at the National Technical University of Athens. She received her BSc from the School of Chemical Engineering of the National Technical University of Athens (NTUA) in 2008 and her PhD in Operations Research from AUEB in 2016. Her research interests focus on the design, development and application of mathematical models and computationally intelligent algorithms to aid decision making for transportation and logistics problems. Amalia has presented her research work in international peer-reviewed academic journals and conferences.

She has participated as a scientific project manager in National and European-funded research projects related to Transportation and Logistics systems. She is also an Adjunct Lecturer at the Athens University of Economics and Business, the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens and the Hellenic Open University.
