Profile

Ioannis Kampouris is a Ph.D. Candidate and Research Associate in the Department of Transportation Planning and Engineering, of the School of Civil Engineering of the National Technical University of Athens (NTUA). Since 2018, he holds a Diploma in Rural and Surveying Engineering from NTUA. Also, from 2022 he holds a Master of Science (M.Sc.) diploma in Design and Construction of Underground Works from the National Technical University of Athens (NTUA) and from 2023 he holds a Master of Science (M.Sc.) diploma in Transportation Systems, from the Technical University of Munich (TUM), with a focus on Transportation Infrastructure. The subject of his master’s thesis was entitled: “Investigating Vehicle- Track Interaction with Varying Support Conditions by Calibrating a Model to Trackside Measurements”.

Ioannis Kampouris is pursuing his Doctoral Dissertation entitled “Synchronization of public transport with micromobility modes” under the supervision of Assistant Professor Dr. Konstantinos Gkiotsalitis. His Doctoral Dissertation is supported by the scholarship he receives as a research associate for the research program “Seamless Shared Urban Mobility (SUM)”.
