Profile

Paraskevi Dimitriou is a Civil Engineer and PhD Candidate in the Department of Transportation Planning and Engineering of the School of Civil Engineering at the National Technical University of Athens (NTUA). In 2020, she graduated from the School of Civil Engineering, majoring in Transportation Engineering. In 2021-2023, she studied at the Msc “Energy Production and Management” program of the NTUA. She has been involved in the study of issues of sustainability and optimal planning in the field of transport, specifically the integration of electrification in urban freight transport. In addition, she has dealt with more general energy issues from the perspective of an energy analyst. She is preparing her PhD Thesis entitled: “Optimal Planning and Operation of Freight Transport in Urban Networks for Fleets of Electric Vehicles” under the supervision of Assistant Professor Dr. Konstantinos Gkiotsalitis.
