The Railways and Transport Lab of NTUA participated in the kick-off meeting of the EU Horizon project SUM-SEAMLESS SHARED URBAN MOBILITY (SUM). The Lab will be the Technical Coordinator of the project and will lead WP1.
The kick-off meeting took place in Lille, France on June 19-20. The project has 30 partners from the EU, including Switzerland and Israel. Namely:
- 6 Municipalities (MUNICH, PENTELI, JERUSALEM, KRAKOW, COIMBRA, FREDRIKSTAD)
- 4 Public transport operators (RET for Rotterdam, LPT for LARNACA, SMTUC for COIMBRA, TPG for GENEVA)
- 7 Large corporations and medium-sized companies (SIXT, FREENOW, SIGMA6, SIEMENS, CON, NBIKE, ZF)
- 2 SMEs (MOBY and HYKE)
- 2 Non-profit organizations (ERTICO and POLIS)
- 9 Academic and research organizations (INRIA, VEDECOM, TUM, NTUA, TAU, JU, CHALMERS, TUD, UT)
